Explosive Arrow Mod Notes
- Added an Explosive Arrow item that behaves like a normal arrow but detonates with a TNT-style explosion when it hits a block or entity. The explosion uses the shooter as the source so damage/credit behaves like TNT you triggered.
- Custom projectile entity and renderer keep the arrow visible in flight while swapping the pickup item to the explosive arrow.
- Crafting recipe: shaped pattern with TNT above, below, left, and right of an arrow in the center (
TNTcross). Produces 4 explosive arrows in the combat category. - Creative inventory: the explosive arrow appears in the Combat tab for easy access.
Known notes and ideas:
- The arrow reuses the vanilla arrow texture; add a custom texture if you want a unique look.
- Explosion strength matches TNT (radius 4). Adjust in code if you want a different blast size or block-damage rules.
