GOODCOMBAT Mod Notes
- Adds a server-side reaction: whenever a player takes damage (except fall damage), they are rotated to face the source of that damage.
- Works for hits from other players, mobs, and projectiles; uses the attacker first, then the direct damage source, then any available damage position to decide where to turn.
- Orientation updates are applied immediately on the server so the client snaps to the attacker’s direction right after being hurt.
- Falls are intentionally ignored; damage sources without a clear position (e.g., poison) will not trigger a turn.
- Install by placing
goodcombat-0.1.0.jarinto the server’s Fabric mods folder; mod id isgoodcombatand the environment is server-only for Minecraft 1.21.1.
