Hurricanes

Hurricanes mod adds timed hurricane events with three waves: a rainy front wall, a calm eye with no rain, and a severe back wall. Each hurricane announces its name and wind speed in chat and plays a bell-style warning when it makes landfall. During the front and back waves players feel pushing winds, the sky turns stormy, and the final wave can throw lightning near players.

Hurricanes spawn automatically in each world every few in-game minutes, and operators can force one immediately with /hurricane start [name] or check the current countdown or active storm with /hurricane status. Clearing weather resumes automatically after the back wall passes.

Notes and limits:

• Weather is changed at the world level during the event; dimensions without weather will only see wind pushes and chat alerts.
• Lightning strikes are limited to the final wave and target areas close to players, but they do not aim directly at a player’s exact position.
• Wind force scales with the randomized wind speed (roughly 90–160 mph) and is strongest in the back wall.
