Legendary weapons

What was built

• Client-side Fabric mod (MC 1.21.1) adding hoplite-inspired legendary weapons with supporting ingredients and a lightweight recipe codex.
• New ingredients: sunsteel ingot, star silk, and hoplite crest; all craftable and used across the legendary set.
• Legendary arsenal: Spear of Ares (boosts the wielder’s strength while weakening targets), Storm Pike (slows foes and speeds the wielder), and Aegis Blade (marks targets with glow and grants brief resistance).
• Utility gear and food: Smelter’s Pickaxe (right-click smelts blocks that have furnace recipes), Light Apple (regen + glowing), and the Legendary Codex (prints recipe hints to chat).
• Crafting recipes are provided for every new item, including the codex and common gear.

How to use it

• Craft the new items in the crafting grid; the Legendary Codex explains the key recipes when right-clicked.
• Smelter’s Pickaxe: right-click a smeltable block to break it and drop the smelted result while using durability.
• Light Apple: eat to gain brief regeneration and a glow aura; legendary weapons apply their on-hit effects automatically.

Notes and limitations

• Textures reuse vanilla items for a cohesive look; there are no custom art assets.
• The codex relies on chat messages instead of a custom GUI.
• The smelting effect triggers only for blocks with standard furnace recipes and is triggered via right-clicking the block.
