One-hit mod behavior
- Press
Jto prime your next attack; the server receives the key press and arms a single use of the one-hit effect. - Hitting a living target while primed schedules 20 ticks of
Integer.MAX_VALUEdamage, then drops the target to zero health and applies one more damage tick to fire death logic. - Priming is consumed on the first valid hit; subsequent kills require pressing
Jagain. - The kill sequence runs server-side each tick so it works in singleplayer and multiplayer.
- Non-living targets are ignored, and entities with true invulnerability (e.g., creative players) may still resist.
- Consider adding UI feedback or a cooldown if you want clearer timing or to prevent repeated priming.
