Owner Brush

Overview

The Owner Brush is a handy tool that lets you find out who owns a mob or block in your world. Ever wondered whose wolf that is or who placed that chest? Just use the Owner Brush and find out instantly!

Features

• Right-click on mobs to see their owner (works on pets like wolves, cats, and horses)
• Right-click on blocks to see who placed them (when used with protection mods)
• Same brushing animation as the vanilla brush item
• 64 uses before it breaks
• Short cooldown between uses so you don't accidentally spam it

How to Use

1. Get the Brush: Find it in the Tools creative tab or use /give @p ownerbrush:owner_brush
2. Check a Mob: Right-click on any tameable mob (wolf, cat, parrot, horse, etc.) to see who owns it
3. Check a Block: Right-click on a block to see who owns it
4. Read the Message: The owner's name appears in the action bar at the bottom of your screen

Tips & Tricks

• The brush has durability, so bring multiple if you're doing detective work
• If something shows "no owner," it might be a wild animal or the block was placed before ownership tracking was added
• The brush works on arrows and projectiles too - see who shot that skeleton!

Known Limitations

• Block ownership detection depends on other protection mods being installed
• Some modded entities might not show ownership correctly
