Shield Mod Notes
- Adds a Round Shield item that blocks like the vanilla shield with the same durability and single-item stack size.
- Crafting: shaped recipe with an iron ingot in the center and oak planks in the four cardinal slots around it.
- The shield appears in the combat creative tab and is included in the shields item tag so it interacts with axe-disabling and other shield behaviors.
- Recipe unlocks once you obtain oak planks and an iron ingot, granting the round shield recipe in the book.
Limitations & Tips
- The mod targets the server environment; players will need the mod on their client to see and use the item without registry mismatches.
- Visuals reuse the vanilla shield model/texture; add a custom round model or textures if you want a distinct look.
