Skander Mod - Player Guide

Overview

Skander adds magical unicorns to your Minecraft world that can fly, plus a powerful elemental magic system. Bond with a unicorn, choose your element, and become the ultimate elementalist!

Features

Unicorns

• Flight: Ride your unicorn and take to the skies! Press jump to fly up, sneak to fly down.
• Immortal: Your bonded unicorn cannot die - it's always by your side.
• One at a Time: You can only have one bonded unicorn at a time.
• Silver Unicorns: Extremely rare (1 in 100 chance) - 40% stronger than regular unicorns!

Bonding with Unicorns

• Wild Unicorns: Find wild unicorns in the world. Right-click to interact - but be careful! They're dangerous and may reject you.
• Unicorn Eggs: Find eggs to hatch your own already-bonded unicorn (no taming needed).

Elemental System

Choose one of five elements:

• Fire: Magma walls, fireballs, fire weapons, fire wolves
• Water: Prismarine walls, water splashes, water weapons, dolphins
• Air/Lightning: Snow walls, lightning strikes, wind weapons, parrots
• Ground: Dirt walls, earth throws, stone weapons, horses
• Spirit: Soul sand walls, freeze enemies, phantom companions

Using Elements: Ride your unicorn OR reach Level 5 to wield your element.

Spirit Special: Can freeze enemy attacks for a few seconds.

Progression

• Training: Use /train to earn XP
• Racing: Use /startrace while riding to compete
• Battling: Use /startbattle to fight waves of enemies

Level up unlocks more power and allows element use without your unicorn!

Customization

• Naming: Use /nameunicorn set <name> - one time only!

Commands

Tips & Tricks

1. Start with Fire: Fire is great for beginners - easy to use and powerful.
2. Bond at a Distance: When bonding with wild unicorns, stay back for better success chance.
3. Get Silver: Keep trying - silver unicorns are much stronger!
4. Level Up Fast: Win races and battles for big XP rewards.
5. Spirit is Support: Spirit freezes enemies - great for escaping or helping friends!

Known Limitations

• Can only use element abilities while riding your unicorn OR at level 5+
• One unicorn per player at a time
• Unicorns can only be renamed once
• Element abilities have cooldowns and resource considerations

Getting Started

1. Spawn or find a wild unicorn (/spawnunicorn)
2. Right-click to attempt bonding (careful - may fail!)
3. Or find a Dragon Egg and place it, then warm with torches to hatch
4. Choose your element with /chooseelement
5. Train, race, and battle to level up!
