SMASH HIT MINECRAFT V.1i

Overview

This mod brings the addictive glass-breaking gameplay of Smash Hit to Minecraft! Shoot metal balls at glass and crystal obstacles, watch them shatter into pieces with realistic physics, and race through checkpoint-based levels just like the mobile game.

Features

  • Breakable Glass Blocks - Five sizes of glass that shatter on impact and fall with gravity
  • Glowing Crystal Blocks - Five sizes of light-emitting crystals that also break when hit
  • Indestructible Iron Blocks - Five sizes of metal barriers that clang but never break
  • Ball Shooter - Right-click to fire metal balls that destroy glass and crystals
  • Checkpoint System - 11 checkpoint blocks track your progress through levels
  • Physics-Powered Destruction - Broken pieces bounce and scatter realistically

How to Use

Getting Started

  1. Open your inventory and look for the "Smash Hit" creative tab
  2. Grab the Ball Shooter item - this is your main tool
  3. Place glass, crystal, and iron blocks to build your own Smash Hit-style level
  4. Place checkpoint blocks along the path to track progress

Shooting Balls

  • Hold the Ball Shooter in your hand
  • Right-click to fire a metal ball in the direction you're looking
  • Balls have a short cooldown between shots
  • Balls bounce off iron blocks but break glass and crystals on contact

Building Levels

Glass & Crystal Sizes:

  • Small (1x1) - Quick to break
  • Medium (2x2) - Standard obstacle
  • Large (3x3) - Takes more hits
  • Extra Large (4x4) - Big challenge
  • Mega (5x5) - Massive destruction

Checkpoints:

  • Place Start Checkpoint at the beginning
  • Add numbered checkpoints (1-9) along the path
  • Use End Checkpoint for the finish line
  • Walking over a checkpoint saves your progress

Tips & Tricks

  • Crystals glow, making them perfect for dark areas
  • Iron blocks are completely indestructible - use them for walls and floors
  • Glass breaks into physics-based pieces that fall and bounce
  • Chain reactions happen when falling pieces hit other glass below
  • Build suspended glass platforms for satisfying chain reactions

Known Limitations

  • Entity renderers are simplified (falling pieces and balls are invisible but functional)
  • Checkpoint progress resets when leaving the server/world
  • Balls don't have visual trails in all cases
