Overview

The AniMod lets you create custom animations for your player character and mobs! Design unique movements, emotes, attacks, and walking styles. Save your creations and share them with friends.

How to Use

Getting Started

1. Type /anim help to see all available commands
2. Create your first animation with /anim create MyAnimation
3. View saved animations with /anim list
4. Preview an animation with /anim play <id> (use the ID shown in the list)
5. Stop playing with /anim stop

Managing Your Animations

• Delete an animation: /anim delete <id>
• Export to share: /anim export <id> - Copy the JSON text that appears
• Import from friend: /anim import <json> - Paste the JSON they sent you

Animation Types

• Idle - Stationary poses and breathing animations
• Walk - Movement animations for walking
• Run - Faster movement animations
• Attack - Combat moves and strikes
• Emote - Dances, waves, and expressions
• Custom - Anything you can imagine!

City Hub Features

• Animation Stations - Interactive blocks that provide helpful tips
• Instruction Signs - Click for tutorials and quest info
• Animation Master - Find the NPC for animation quests and challenges

Tips & Tricks

• Give your animations descriptive names so you remember what they do
• Test animations before exporting to make sure they look right
• Share exported JSON in Discord or forums for others to use
• Animations are saved per-world and persist between sessions
• Build an animation hub with stations to show off your creations

Known Limitations

• Animations currently apply basic pose changes; complex bone animations are simplified
• Maximum animation duration is limited for performance
• Some mob-specific animations may work differently on various entity types
