- Cobblemon assault makes wild Cobblemon grab loose tools and turn them on nearby players. The mod id is
cobblemonassaultand it runs server-side only. - Each tick cycle tracks Cobblemon entities as they load or spawn. If a Cobblemon's main hand is empty and a tool item (swords, axes, pickaxes, shovels, hoes, bows, crossbows, tridents, shields, flint and steel, shears) is dropped within roughly 4.5 blocks, it will pick up a single copy and keep it.
- Once holding a tool, every few seconds it checks for a visible non-creative, non-spectator player within about 8 blocks. On a successful random roll it swings the tool at that player, dealing simple melee damage scaled by the tool type and knocking the target back slightly.
- Attacks consume durability on the stolen tool. After each swing, that Cobblemon waits a short cooldown before it can try again, preventing constant spam.
- Behavior stays limited to held tools: Cobblemon do not replace an existing held item, and they leave players in creative or spectator mode alone. No commands are required to enable the feature; it starts as soon as the mod loads.
