pokemon gone

pokemon gone (mod id pokemongone) is now a server-side first-partner picker for all 1025 mainline Pokémon species.

• Use /pokemon <name> to claim your starter; names are case-insensitive and accept spaces/hyphens (e.g., Pikachu, Mr Mime, iron-valiant). The server confirms with a short “Boo yeah” flavor line.
• /pokemon random assigns a random species, while /pokemon info repeats your saved choice. /pokemon talk [name] chats about either your saved partner or any named species without changing your pick.
• Choices persist per world via a lightweight saved state and can be re-picked at any time.
• The mod ships an offline list of all 1025 species; invalid inputs return a few close suggestions.

Limitations and notes:

• This mod only tracks names and flavor text—no Pokémon entities, battles, or items are added.
• Flavor is generic for most species; a handful of iconic picks have custom blurbs.
• Only one partner is stored per player at a time; choosing again replaces the previous pick.
