DummyPlayer Mod

Overview

DummyPlayer is a server-side mod that spawns fake players into your Hytale world. These dummy players appear in the player list (Tab menu), have random names, and show fake ping values between 100-120ms to make them look like real players.

How to Use

Spawning Dummies

To spawn fake players at your current location:

/dummy spawn

This will spawn up to 10 dummy players (or however many are needed to reach the maximum of 10).

Clearing Dummies

To remove all fake players from the world:

/dummy clear

To see the command usage:

/dummy

Tips & Tricks

• Dummies are spread out in a 10-block radius from where you stand when spawning them
• The fake ping values are randomly assigned (100-120ms) and stay the same for each dummy
• Dummies remain on the server until you clear them or the server restarts
• Each dummy has a unique random name that looks like a real player (e.g., "Alex123", "DiamondDigger_456")

Known Limitations

• Maximum of 10 dummy players can exist at once
• Dummies don't move or walk around on their own (they use NPC AI if available)
• Fake ping values are for display purposes only and don't affect actual network performance
