Aether Plugin

Overview

The Aether Plugin adds a mystical sky dimension to your Minecraft server! Build a glowstone portal and activate it with water to enter a world of floating islands high above the clouds. Fight bosses to unlock powerful new origins (like special character classes) with unique abilities.

• Aether Dimension - A sky world at Y 2300-2490 with floating islands and custom terrain
• Portal System - Build a glowstone frame and use a water bucket to activate
• 3 Aether Bosses - The Slider (Bronze), Valkyrie Queen (Silver), and Sun Spirit (Gold)
• Origin Upgrade System - Start as Human, unlock powerful origins by defeating bosses
• Custom Animals - Aerbunnies, Flying Cows, Phyg pigs, Moas, Aerwhales, and more!
• Gravity Mechanics - Fall off an island and drop back into the Overworld sky

How to Use

Getting to the Aether

1. Build a portal frame out of Glowstone (similar shape to a Nether portal)
2. Pour water inside the frame with a bucket to activate it
3. Walk through the portal to teleport to the Aether!

Origin System

• /origin - Check your current origin and abilities
• /origin list - See all available origins and which ones you've unlocked
• /origin select <name> - Switch to an unlocked origin

Unlocking Origins

Admin Commands

• /aetherboss spawn <type> - Spawn an Aether boss (slider, valkyrie_queen, sun_spirit)
• /aetherboss list - View all available boss types
• /aether reload - Reload plugin configuration

Tips & Tricks

• The Slider can only be hurt with pickaxes - swords won't work!
• The Sun Spirit takes extra damage from ice-related items
• If you fall off an Aether island, you'll fall into the Overworld sky
• Blazeborn origin takes double damage from water, but is immune to fire and lava
• Use /origin info to remind yourself of your current abilities

Known Limitations

• Custom animals don't have unique models (they use vanilla mob appearances with custom names)
• Dungeons are not auto-generated; admins must spawn bosses manually
• Some origin abilities (like teleportation) require using specific items or commands
