AIChatBuild Mod - User Guide

Overview

AIChatBuild is a Minecraft mod that lets you chat with an AI right in the game! Press F7 to open a chat window where you can have conversations with an AI or ask it to build structures for you. The mod supports two modes: Chat mode for casual conversations and Build mode for having the AI construct things based on your descriptions.

Features

• F7 Key Binding: Press F7 anytime to open the chat interface
• Chat Mode: Have fun conversations and jokes with the AI
• Build Mode: Describe what you want built and the AI will construct it for you
• Pause/Resume: Control building with pause and resume buttons
• Chat History: Your conversation history persists while the game is running
• Text Wrapping: Long messages automatically wrap to fit the chat box

How to Use

Opening the Chat

1. Press F7 while playing in a world
2. The chat window will appear in the center of your screen

Chat Mode (Default)

1. The mod starts in Chat mode
2. Type your message in the text box at the bottom
3. Click Send or press Enter to send your message
4. The AI will respond with a conversation or joke
5. Your chat history is displayed above

Switching to Build Mode

1. Click the Mode: Chat button to switch to Build mode
2. The button will change to Mode: Build
3. Type a description of what you want built (e.g., "build a wooden house")
4. Click Send to start the build
5. The AI will begin placing blocks at normal player speed

Controlling Builds

• Pause Button: Click to pause the current build
• Resume Button: Click to continue a paused build
• Stop Button: Click to cancel the build completely

Closing the Chat

• Press ESC or click the Close button to close the chat window

Tips & Tricks

• Be specific in your build descriptions! The more details you provide, the better the AI can understand what you want
• You can switch between Chat and Build modes anytime
• Your chat history stays while the game is running
• The AI builds at normal player speed, so you can watch the construction happen
• Try asking the AI for jokes or Minecraft tips in Chat mode!

Known Limitations

• The AI currently uses mock responses for demonstration purposes
• Build mode requires you to specify exactly what blocks to use
• The mod is client-side only and doesn't affect multiplayer servers
• Building happens at normal player speed, so large structures take time
