Assassin's Dagger

Overview

This plugin adds a powerful Assassin's Dagger to your Minecraft server. Sneak up behind other players and deliver a deadly backstab for an instant kill! But be careful - after a successful backstab, your dagger needs time to recharge.

Features

• Custom Assassin's Dagger item (black netherite sword appearance)
• Instant kill when attacking players from behind (backstab)
• 5-minute cooldown after each successful backstab
• Normal iron-sword damage for frontal attacks
• Works in PvP only (ignores creative/spectator mode players)

How to Use

Getting the Dagger:

• Run /assassindagger give to give yourself the dagger
• Run /assassindagger give [player] to give it to another player
• Requires assassindagger.give permission (ops by default)

Using the Backstab:

1. Hold the Assassin's Dagger in your main hand
2. Approach another player from behind (they must be facing away from you)
3. Attack them for an instant kill!

Other Commands:

• /assassindagger reload - Reload the config file (ops only)

Tips & Tricks

• Try to catch players when they're running away or distracted
• The dagger shows "Dagger on cooldown!" if you try to backstab during cooldown
• During cooldown, you can still deal normal damage with the dagger
• Works great for assassination missions or surprise PvP attacks!

Permissions

• assassindagger.give - Give the dagger to players (default: op)
• assassindagger.use - Use the backstab ability (default: everyone)
• assassindagger.reload - Reload config (default: op)

Configuration

Edit config.yml to change the backstab cooldown (default: 300 seconds = 5 minutes).
