Overview
Connect for Real is a cross-play mod that lets Bedrock Edition players (console, mobile, Windows 10) join your Java Edition server and play together! Your Bedrock friends can now enjoy all your Java mods and plugins. You can also connect to Bedrock servers from your Java client.

How to Use
- Install the mod on your Fabric server
- Bedrock players can connect using your server's IP and port 19132 (UDP)

/connectforrealor/cfrto check cross-play status - Use
/cfr listto see all connected players and their platform - Use
/cfr statusto view server and bridge status - Use
/cfr reloadto reload settings after config changes
Tips & Tricks
- Make sure port 19132 (UDP) is open on your firewall for Bedrock players
- Edit
config/connectforreal.propertiesto customize settings like port and max players - The MOTD shown to Bedrock players can be changed in the config file
- Both Java and Bedrock players will appear in the same world together
Known Limitations
- Some complex modded items may not translate perfectly between editions
- Bedrock-specific features (like character creator skins) may display differently
- Realms servers are not currently supported
