DeathScythe Mod

Overview

The DeathScythe mod adds a legendary weapon to your Minecraft world - the Death Scythe! This powerful weapon combines the best features of swords and axes with a cool teleportation ability. Wield it to dominate your enemies with devastating attacks and instant mobility.

Features

• Ultimate Weapon Power: Deals damage like a Netherite Axe but swings as fast as a sword
• Shield Breaker: Attacks disable enemy shields just like an axe would
• Sweeping Edge: Hit one enemy and nearby foes take damage too
• Velocity Damage: Build up speed by sprinting or moving fast before attacking for bonus smash damage and extra knockback
• Teleportation: Right-click to throw an Ender Pearl and teleport anywhere you aim
• Unbreakable: Never breaks, no repairs ever needed
• Epic Rarity: Shines with a purple color showing its legendary status

How to Use

Getting the Weapon

Since this is a server-side mod, the Death Scythe can be obtained through creative mode or server commands:

/give @p deathscythe:death_scythe

Combat

• Basic Attacks: Left-click to attack - deals damage like a Netherite Axe
• Sweeping Edge: When you hit an enemy, nearby enemies within 3 blocks also take 50% damage
• Shield Breaking: Attack players blocking with shields to disable their shield for 5 seconds
• Sprint Attacks: Run or sprint before hitting for up to 8 bonus damage and increased knockback

Teleportation

1. Hold the Death Scythe in your hand
2. Right-click to throw an Ender Pearl
3. The pearl travels in the direction you're looking
4. You'll teleport to where it lands (taking minimal fall damage)
5. There's a 2-second cooldown between teleports

Tips & Tricks

• Build up speed before attacking for maximum damage - sprint jumps work great!
• Use teleportation to escape dangerous situations quickly or reach high places
• The sweeping attack is perfect for fighting groups of mobs - cluster them together
• Combine with enchantments like Sharpness or Looting for even more power
• Works great in both singleplayer and multiplayer servers
