GUI Fixer
Overview
GUI Fixer lets you nudge any inventory slot exactly where you want it. Shift your offhand to the side, raise crafting grids, or tidy modded screens with simple X/Y offsets.
Features
- Move any slot on any screen with pixel-perfect offsets
- Works with vanilla and modded screens using exact names or wildcards (e.g.
*CraftingScreen) - Stack multiple tweaks together; offsets add up when several entries match
- Ships with sample offhand and crafting grid adjustments to start from
How to Use
- Launch Minecraft once to create
config/guifixer.json. - Open the file and edit
screenAdjustments. - Pick a screen key (full name or wildcard) and set
slotOffsetsso each slot index gets anxOffsetandyOffsetvalue. - Save the file and restart Minecraft, then open the screen to see your changes.
Tips & Tricks
- Start with small numbers (5–10 pixels) until you like the placement.
- Wildcards help cover families of screens;
*CraftingScreenhits every crafting GUI. - Want a general shift plus a specific tweak? Add two entries—the offsets will combine.
- Negative Y moves up, negative X moves left.
Known Limitations
- Config changes load on game start; restart to apply edits.
- Slot indices are still technical—you may need to check a wiki or experiment.
- Extreme offsets can push slots off the visible GUI.
