HySneak

Overview

HySneak is a simple client-side mod that automatically manages your sneaking state while you hold the shift key. When you're on the ground, you'll sneak normally, but the moment you jump or fall into the air, the mod automatically releases the sneak key for you. This helps with parkour, building, and moving around the world more smoothly.

How to Use

1. Install the mod in your mods folder like any other Fabric mod
2. Join a singleplayer world or multiplayer server
3. Hold the Shift key (your normal sneak key)
4. While holding shift:
   • Stand on the ground to sneak
   • Jump or walk off an edge to automatically unsneak
   • Land back on the ground to automatically sneak again
5. Release shift to stop sneaking completely

Tips & Tricks

• Perfect for parkour maps - you won't accidentally slow yourself down mid-jump
• Great for building at edges - sneak to place blocks, jump and you'll unsneak automatically
• Helps with bridging - no more getting stuck sneaking when you need to jump across gaps
• Works in both singleplayer and multiplayer

Known Limitations

• The mod only works when you're actively holding the shift key - it's not a toggle
• Some servers with anti-cheat plugins may detect the rapid sneak state changes
