What is This Mod?

Malice Symbiote is a dark horror mod that introduces a parasitic entity called Malice into your world. This sentient black creature with dark red veins will actively hunt you down and permanently bond with your body, granting you incredible power at the cost of your autonomy. As the symbiote evolves through five stages, you'll gain devastating combat abilities—but you'll also lose control as Malice's AI takes over your actions.

Key Features

Permanent Bonding: Malice spawns in the Nether and End. When it touches you, it bonds permanently and cannot be removed naturally.
Five-Stage Evolution: The symbiote evolves every Minecraft day, unlocking new abilities and visual effects at each stage.
Tentacle Combat: Four independent tentacles grab and throw enemies automatically. You can trigger throws manually.
Life Leech: Heal yourself by attacking enemies. The healing percentage increases with each stage (15% → 25%).
Head Bite Attack: Unlock a devastating close-range attack at stage 4 that deals massive damage and staggers enemies.
AI Takeover: At stage 5, Malice may randomly seize control of your body, forcing you to attack nearby mobs automatically.
Malice Spawns: Summon small symbiote fragments that latch onto mobs and deal damage over time.
Immersive Visuals: Watch pulsing veins crawl across your body, glowing red eyes intensify, and a black/red mist swirl around you as you progress.

How to Use

Find Malice: Explore the Nether or End biomes. Malice will spawn as a black entity with red veins.
Get Bonded: Let Malice touch you. It will latch on permanently.
Watch It Grow: Every Minecraft day (20 minutes), Malice advances one stage. New abilities unlock automatically.
Use Tentacles: Your tentacles grab nearby enemies on their own. Press your designated key to throw grabbed mobs.
Survive the Takeover: At stage 5, Malice may force you to attack. Stay aware of your surroundings!

Tips & Tricks

Stock Up on Food: Life Leech heals you, but it's not instant. Keep food handy for emergencies.
Use Tentacles Strategically: Grab enemies and throw them off cliffs or into lava for easy kills.
Embrace the Chaos: At stage 5, let Malice help you farm mobs. The AI is aggressive and effective.
Watch for Visual Cues: Pulsing veins and glowing eyes indicate your current stage. Use this to plan your fights.

Known Limitations

Malice cannot be removed once bonded (this is intentional—it's a permanent symbiote).
If you die, Malice drops as a creature you must find and reclaim.
Some visual effects may be subtle on lower graphics settings.
AI takeover is random and unpredictable—prepare for surprises!
