Manhunt mod notes

  • Added a hunter’s compass that updates once per second using the lodestone tracker component so it always points at the chosen runner without needing a lodestone block.
  • Set the runner by right-clicking them with any compass or with /manhunt runner <player>; /manhunt clear stops tracking, /manhunt status reports roles, and /manhunt compass hands the caller a tracker if they need one.
  • When a runner is chosen, every other online player is treated as a hunter and is given a named compass (dropped at their feet if their inventory is full); new hunters get one on join as long as a runner is active.
  • If the runner disconnects the role is cleared and existing compasses revert to normal; compasses track the runner’s current dimension and position.
  • Known limitations / ideas: roles reset on server restart, only one runner is supported at a time, cross-dimension tracking spins until the hunter matches the runner’s dimension, and there’s no built-in round timer or GUI.
