Noclip - Target Lock-On Mod
Overview
Noclip adds an action-RPG style lock-on camera system to Minecraft. Press a hotkey to automatically track creatures around you, keeping them centered in your view for easier combat and exploration.
Features
- Smart Target Lock: Press L (default) to instantly lock onto the nearest living creature within 50 blocks
- Auto-Tracking Camera: Your view automatically follows the target as they move - no more losing track of enemies!
- Glowing Highlight: Locked targets glow white, making them easy to spot even through walls and in dark caves
- Intelligent Release: The lock automatically turns off if your target dies or moves too far away
- Toggle Control: Press the same key again to release the lock and return to normal camera control
How to Use
- Find a target - Look for any mob or creature within 50 blocks of you
- Press L - The nearest creature will start glowing and your camera will snap to face them
- Move freely - Walk, jump, and attack while your view stays focused on your target
- Press L again - Release the lock when you want to look around freely
You can change the hotkey in your controls menu under the "Miscellaneous" category.
Tips & Tricks
- The lock works through walls, so it's great for tracking enemies in caves or behind cover
- The glowing effect helps you spot camouflaged mobs like creepers in dark areas
- If your target dies or runs too far, the lock releases automatically so you can find new prey
- Combine with strafing (A/D keys) to circle around your locked target while keeping them in view
Known Limitations
- The mod always picks the closest creature, not necessarily the one you're looking at
- Some server anti-cheat plugins may flag rapid camera rotation as suspicious (this mod is purely visual/client-side)
