PVP to Meters

Overview

PVP to Meters is a simple but useful mod that shows you exactly how far away your opponents are when you're fighting! Every time you hit a mob or player, a small distance indicator appears on your screen showing the distance in meters.

Features

  • Distance Tracker: Shows the distance between you and your target in meters when you attack
  • Smart Disappear: The indicator automatically hides if you lose sight of the enemy for 3+ seconds
  • Range Limit: Stops tracking if the target gets more than 50 meters away
  • Fully Configurable: Customize the position, size, and behavior through the in-game config screen

How to Use

  1. Install the mod and launch Minecraft
  2. Hit any entity (mob or player) with your weapon
  3. Look at the screen - you'll see a distance indicator appear!
  4. The indicator stays visible for 10 seconds after each hit
  5. To change settings: Open the Mod Menu (if installed) or go to Options > Mods > PVP to Meters > Config

Config Options

  • Enable/Disable: Turn the distance indicator on or off
  • Position Preset: Choose where the indicator appears (Below Hotbar, Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left, Bottom Right, Center)
  • Scale: Make the indicator bigger or smaller (0.5x to 2.0x)
  • Display Duration: How long the indicator shows (1-60 seconds)
  • Max Distance: Maximum range before tracking stops (10-200 meters)
  • Line of Sight Timeout: Seconds without seeing the target before indicator hides (1-10 seconds)

Tips & Tricks

  • Great for bow users who need to know exact distances for arrow drops
  • Perfect for practicing your PVP spacing and timing
  • Use the "Below Hotbar" position to see distance right next to your weapon cooldown

Known Limitations

  • Only works in single player or when you're the one attacking (client-side mod)
