Cobblemon Animation Player

A simple mod that lets you trigger Pokémon cry animations on demand!

What It Does

This mod adds a command that makes Pokémon in your world play their cry animation and sound. Perfect for screenshots, videos, or just for fun when you want to see your Pokémon react!

How to Use

Command: /cobblecry <target>

Examples:

  • /cobblecry @e[type=cobblemon:pokemon,limit=1] - Makes the nearest Pokémon cry
  • /cobblecry @e[type=cobblemon:pokemon,name=Pikachu] - Makes any nearby Pikachu cry

Alternative:

  • /cobblecry near - Makes all Pokémon within 10 blocks of you cry at once

Tips

  • The command requires OP level 2 (or permission level 2)
  • The cry animation includes both the visual animation AND the Pokémon's cry sound
  • Works on wild Pokémon, owned Pokémon, and even Pokémon in battle
  • Great for getting that perfect screenshot of your favorite Pokémon

Known Limitations

  • Only works on Pokémon entities that are spawned in the world (not in PC boxes or held items)
  • Some special Pokémon forms may have unique animations that differ from standard cries
