Crosshair Hit Indicator

Overview

This mod shows a white X around your crosshair every time you hit a player, animal, or monster. It's a quick visual confirmation that your attack connected, without blocking your view of the target.

Features

• Visual Hit Feedback: A white X flashes around your crosshair when you successfully hit any living entity
• Non-Intrusive Design: The X surrounds your crosshair but leaves the center clear so you can keep aiming
• Works on Everything: Triggers when hitting players, passive mobs (cows, pigs, sheep), and hostile mobs (zombies, skeletons, creepers)
• Quick Flash: The X appears for half a second (0.5s) — long enough to notice, short enough not to be distracting

How to Use

1. Install the mod by placing the JAR file in your Minecraft mods folder
2. Launch the game — the mod works automatically with no setup needed
3. Hit something — punch a player or mob and watch for the white X around your crosshair!

That's it! There are no commands, keybindings, or settings to configure.

Tips & Tricks

• The X appears for all living entities, so you can use it to confirm hits on distant skeletons or fast-moving rabbits
• The indicator is purely visual — it doesn't change any game mechanics or give you any advantage beyond better feedback

Known Limitations

• The X currently appears for all hits on living entities (players, animals, monsters). It cannot be configured to only show for players.
