Overview

This mod adds a hardcore twist to your Minecraft server! The difficulty automatically cycles every 5 minutes, and if you die, you're permanently banned. It's perfect for servers that want an extra challenge with constantly changing gameplay conditions.

Features

• Automatic Difficulty Cycling: Every 5 minutes, the server difficulty changes in order: Peaceful → Easy → Normal → Hard → Peaceful (and repeats)
• Hardcore Mode: When a player dies, they are automatically banned from the server
• Server Announcements: All players are notified when the difficulty changes and when someone dies

How to Use

1. Install the mod on your server (it's server-side only, no client install needed)
2. Start the server and play normally
3. Watch the chat for difficulty change announcements
4. Stay alive! One death means game over

Tips & Tricks

• Use the peaceful phases to gather resources and heal up
• Be extra careful during Hard difficulty - mobs do more damage!
• The difficulty cycle is predictable, so plan your adventures accordingly
• Consider setting up safe bases during easier phases

Known Limitations

• The difficulty cycling starts from the first cycle after server start (begins at peaceful, then cycles)
• Banned players must be unbanned manually by an operator or through the server console
