Ruby Mod additions

  • Added a ruby gemstone item crafted from a simple 2x2 of dirt, plus a full ruby armor set and storage block so the gems can be stockpiled.
  • Ruby block drops itself and is tagged for pickaxe mining (iron-tier or better), and can be crafted back into nine rubies.
  • Armor uses a custom ruby material with solid defense, modest toughness, and ruby repair, along with red-tinted armor textures and icons.

Crafting quick reference

  • Ruby: 2x2 dirt.
  • Ruby Block: standard 3x3 of rubies; reverse craft gives 9 rubies.
  • Armor: vanilla-shaped recipes using rubies for helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots.

Notes

  • The mod is marked as client-side; ensure the client has the mod and ruby assets when connecting.
  • Rubies also appear in relevant creative tabs (Ingredients, Combat, Building Blocks).
