Sulfur Items Mod

Overview

Sulfur Items adds a whole new tier of equipment to Minecraft that's three times stronger than netherite! Mine crimson-colored sulfur ore deep under lava in the Nether, smelt it into ingots, and craft incredibly powerful tools and armor.

Features

  • Sulfur Ore - Generates frequently under lava in the Nether (Y=0 to Y=118)
  • Sulfur Ingot - Smelt ore in a furnace or blast furnace
  • Tools - Sword, pickaxe, shovel, and hoe with 3x the power of netherite
  • Armor - Full set including helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots
  • Crimson Fire Design - The chestplate has a unique crimson fire pattern
  • Netherite-Style Look - All gear looks like crimson-colored netherite

How to Use

Finding Sulfur Ore

  1. Go to the Nether
  2. Look near lava lakes at low elevations (close to bedrock)
  3. Mine the ore with a diamond pickaxe or better

Crafting Gear

  1. Smelt sulfur ore into sulfur ingots using a furnace or blast furnace
  2. Use the ingots just like you would use diamonds or netherite:
    • Tools: Place ingots in the standard tool pattern with sticks
    • Armor: Place ingots in the standard armor patterns

All Recipes

  • Sword: 2 ingots + 1 stick
  • Pickaxe: 3 ingots + 2 sticks
  • Shovel: 1 ingot + 2 sticks
  • Hoe: 2 ingots + 2 sticks
  • Helmet: 5 ingots in a helmet pattern
  • Chestplate: 8 ingots in a chestplate pattern
  • Leggings: 7 ingots in a leggings pattern
  • Boots: 4 ingots in a boots pattern

Tips & Tricks

  • Bring fire resistance potions when mining - you'll be near lots of lava!
  • The ore generates frequently, so keep exploring the lower Nether
  • Sulfur gear has incredible durability - it'll last a very long time
  • You can repair sulfur items with sulfur ingots at an anvil

Known Limitations

  • No custom textures included (uses placeholder textures)
  • Armor appearance on player uses default netherite-style rendering
