ThePossessed (client-only) brings a psychological horror ambience to 1.20.1 worlds. A tall black silhouette occasionally appears at the edge of sight, watches briefly, and fades when stared down or approached. Loud, jarring warden-inspired audio stingers and cave ambience spike tension when the presence materializes.
Cross-shaped smoke and soul flames flicker around the player and the apparition. Sporadic rings of obsidian block dust and portal sparks form eerie, temporary "structures" without placing real blocks. All visuals and sounds are client side only; they do not affect servers or gameplay balance.
Usage: install on the client with Fabric for 1.20.1, load any world, and explore. The haunting triggers naturally over time; no commands or items are required.
Known limits and notes: the shadow is a simple rendered silhouette without collision, and its structures are particle illusions only. Effects stop entirely if the mod is absent on the client.
