Ultra Mon

Overview

Ultra Mon is a Cobblemon mod that introduces Rubblet, an adorable rock-type golem with a mysterious hole in its body. When you place special items into this hole, Rubblet transforms into one of 18 different evolutions - one for every Pokemon type! Each evolution has unique stats, abilities, and moves themed after their new type.

  • Psychic: Mindgolem (Twisted Spoon)
  • Bug: Insectogolem (Silver Powder)
  • Rock: Petrigolem (Hard Stone)

  • Dragon: Dragogolem (Dragon Scale)
  • Dark: Umbrogolem (Black Glasses)

How to Use

1. Find Rubblet - Look for them in mountainous areas, caves, and badlands biomes

2. Catch Rubblet - Use Poke Balls to catch a Rubblet (they're pretty common!)

3. Evolve Your Rubblet:

   • Open your inventory and get the evolution item you want
   • Right-click on Rubblet while holding the item
   • Watch as your Rubblet transforms into the corresponding type!

Evolution Item Quick Reference:

• Elemental Stones (Fire, Water, Thunder, Leaf, Ice, Moon) work for their respective types
• Type-enhancing items like Black Belt, Spell Tag, and Metal Coat work for their types
• Silk Scarf creates the Normal-type Normagolem

Tips & Tricks

• Plan Your Evolution - Check each evolution's base stats before committing. For example, Pugnogolem has high Attack while Mindgolem excels in Special Attack
• Multiple Rubblets - Since Rubblet is relatively common, catch several and create a team with different evolutions
• Type Coverage - With 18 possible evolutions, you can create a team with perfect type coverage
• Abilities Matter - Each evolution has abilities that match their type (like Sand Stream for Terragolem or Levitate for Phantogolem)

Known Limitations

• Rubblet and its evolutions use placeholder models from existing Cobblemon (they'll appear as generic rock-type shaped Pokemon until custom models are added)
• Evolution items are consumed during the evolution process
• Once evolved, the transformation is permanent - you can't change your golem to another type
