Cobblemon No Starter GUI disables the Cobblemon starter selection screen for new players by default and lets staff or players opt in when they want to choose a starter.
- Default behaviour: when a player first joins, their Cobblemon starter selection is locked and they receive a short reminder that they can enable it with
/nostartergui enable. - Commands:
/nostartergui status [player]— check whether the starter GUI is currently enabled or disabled./nostartergui enable|disable [player]— unlock or lock the starter screen. Targets require permission level 2; self use is open to players./nostartergui toggle— flip your own setting./nostartergui open [player]— unlock (if needed) and immediately open the starter picker for an eligible player who has not chosen yet./nostartergui default block|allow— set the default for new players (ops only).
- Per-player choices are saved in
config/cobblemon_no_starter_gui.jsonso they persist across restarts. - The mod does not grant Pokémon; it only controls access to Cobblemon’s built-in starter picker. Players who already picked a starter are unaffected.
