Fang & Glory delivers server-side arena combat built around timing. The /fangglory start [radius] command arms a trial at your feet (default radius 14), spawning escalating waves that end with the "Arena Tyrant" boss. Staying in the circle matters; leaving the dimension or bounds calls the fight off. Perfectly paced hits (8-18 ticks between swings) inflict extra damage, slow targets, and build a visible chain, while spamming swings triggers a brief fatigue penalty. Victories award emeralds, regeneration, and short strength/resistance buffs.
Progression is tracked per player as clears and boss finishes, stored with the world and viewable via /fangglory status. Trials scale health and damage based on your record so mastery, not grinding, drives difficulty. Use /fangglory stop to abort a run.
Notes and limits:
- Designed for open spaces; the arena center is not saved between sessions.
- Server-only; no new blocks or items beyond buffed vanilla mobs and reward drops.
- Balance is tuned for vanilla gear; adjust radius or play space if mobs crowd players.
Future improvements to consider: multiple arena layouts, optional rewards tied to boss streaks, and configurable wave sets per world.
