MobBug
a Minecraft fabric mod where you can debug mob pathfinding with debug options and option to control mob
00—fabricClient1.21.1mod
MobBug is a client-side helper for inspecting and steering mob pathfinding.
- Press F8 while looking at a mob to select it. Toggle the on-screen overlay with F7 and cycle what is shown (live, preview, both) with F6.
- When a mob is selected, its active path (if any) is drawn as green boxes and lines. A HUD summary shows distance and node counts.
- Aim at a block or entity and press F9 to guide the selected mob there. A golden preview path is drawn immediately; in singleplayer the mod also asks the integrated server to move the mob. Press F10 to cancel and stop navigation.
- The overlay highlights the current target block and shows whether guidance is running in live control or preview-only mode.
Notes and limits:
- Direct control depends on having an integrated server (singleplayer/LAN). On remote servers the guiding path remains client-side visualisation only.
- The overlays are rendered relative to the camera and can be toggled off if they become distracting.
- Key bindings can be remapped in the controls menu if the defaults conflict with your setup.
