Overview

Abyssal Descent is a horror-themed Minecraft mod that transforms your world into a terrifying experience. Venture deep underground to encounter horrific entities, face your fears as your sanity slowly decays in the darkness, and survive the horrors that lurk in the abyss.

Features

• Horror Entities - Face terrifying monsters that stalk you in the dark
• Sanity System - Your mental state deteriorates in darkness and near monsters, causing hallucinations and fear effects
• Atmospheric Horror - Experience ambient sounds, particle effects, and environmental changes that create a truly terrifying atmosphere

How to Use

1. Installation: Download the mod JAR and place it in your Minecraft mods folder
2. Exploring: Venture into caves and dark areas to experience the horror mechanics
3. Surviving: Stay in well-lit areas to maintain your sanity, and be prepared to face the entities that emerge from the darkness

Tips & Tricks

• Bring plenty of torches - light is your best defense against sanity loss
• Don't stay in caves too long - the darkness takes its toll
• Listen for ambient sounds - they may warn of approaching danger
• Keep your wits about you when hallucinations start appearing

Known Limitations

• Some advanced entity features are still in development
• Full biome generation for Wailing Forest and Mirror Swamps is planned for future updates
• The Abyssal Nexus dimension is a work in progress
