AI-player
This mod builds a safe AI “brain” that decides what the player should do, while normal code safely handles how to move and act—so the AI plans smart actions...
00—fabricBoth1.21.1mod
AI-player adds a safeguarded planning brain for 1.21.1 that only suggests actions and never performs them. Each player gets a personal brain that checks health, hunger, nearby hostiles, time of day, shields/food/torches, inventory space, and distance from spawn before recommending next steps.
Commands (also available via /ai):
/aiplayer status– show whether the brain is active and the latest plan headline./aiplayer plan [focus]– generate a fresh, prioritized plan; optional focus text nudges the plan safely./aiplayer goal <text>– set a personal goal; unsafe wording is replaced with a safe fallback and flagged./aiplayer pause//aiplayer resume– toggle planning without losing your goal./aiplayer reset– restore defaults and clear the last prompt./aiplayer safety– list the built-in guardrails./aiplayer cautions– report current risk checks (low health, night, hostiles, full inventory, etc.).
How it works:
- Plans are built from a fixed library of safe verbs (retreat, heal, craft shield, stash loot, light areas, mark exits).
- Safety guard filters goals with griefing/dupe/harm keywords and adds cautions when danger is detected.
- Planning is purely advisory; movement, combat, or automation are never performed by the mod.
Limitations and tips:
- Brain state lives in memory only; it resets on server restart.
- Recommendations are heuristic-based and do not account for every modded item or custom rule set.
- Use
/aiplayer safetyto remind players the AI is suggestion-only and stays within guardrails.
