Campfire Cooking Plus

Overview

Campfire Cooking Plus completely transforms how you cook in Minecraft! No more boring single-item cooking - now you can cook up to 6 items at once, manage fire temperatures, and create perfectly cooked meals with special buffs. Grab your spatula and get ready to become a master campfire chef!

Features

  • Multi-Slot Cooking: Cook up to 6 items simultaneously on an enhanced campfire
  • Cooking Tools: Craft and use special tools like the Campfire Grill (6 slots), Clay Cooking Pot (stews), Iron Skillet (fast meats), Wooden Spatula (flipping), and Thermometer Stick (temperature check)
  • Temperature System: Different fuels produce different heat levels - sticks give low heat while lava buckets create searing temperatures
  • Food Quality: Time your cooking right to achieve "Perfect" quality food with double-length buffs, or risk burning your meal
  • 17 New Foods: Grilled Mushrooms (Night Vision), Charred Corn (Speed), Honey-Glazed Pork (Regeneration), Smoked Meat (Saturation), Roasted Berries (Luck), Campfire Stew (Resistance), Fish Skewers (Water Breathing), Toasted Bread (Haste), Blackened Potatoes (Fire Resistance), Roasted Carrots (Long Night Vision), Steak Bites (Strength), Ember-Roasted Chicken (Jump Boost), Sweetberry Skewers (Slow Falling), Veggie Mix (Health Boost), Fire Pepper Kebabs (Fire Resistance + Speed), Smoked Salmon (Dolphin's Grace), and Roasted Apple Slices (Absorption)
  • Enhanced Sounds: Sizzling and crackling that gets louder as the fire gets hotter

How to Use

  1. Craft Your Tools: Use the recipes to make cooking tools - you'll need iron, clay, wood, and other basic materials
  2. Place a Tool: Place your Campfire Grill, Clay Pot, or Iron Skillet directly on top of any lit campfire
  3. Add Fuel: Right-click the campfire with sticks, planks, coal, charcoal, blaze rods, or even lava buckets to increase temperature
  4. Add Food: Right-click with raw food items to place them on the cooking surface
  5. Check Temperature: Right-click with your Thermometer Stick to see the exact temperature and a color-coded heat bar
  6. Flip for Perfection: When food is partially cooked, right-click with your Wooden Spatula to flip it - time it right (in the green window) for Perfect quality!
  7. Remove Food: Use your spatula to safely remove cooked food, or use your bare hands (ouch - you'll take fire damage!)

Tips & Tricks

  • Watch the Heat: Different tools have different max temperatures - the Clay Pot overheats at 250°C while the Iron Skillet can handle 400°C
  • Fuel Matters: Coal heats up faster than wood and reaches higher temperatures
  • Don't Wait Too Long: Burnt food gives you the Hunger debuff, and if left too long, food turns to ash and disappears
  • Perfect Timing: The flip window opens after about 20 seconds of cooking - watch for visual cues or use the thermometer
  • Protect Your Tools: If the fire gets too hot for your placed tool, it will take damage and eventually break

Known Limitations

  • The mixin warnings during build about method remapping are expected and don't affect gameplay
  • Some visual effects (floating progress bars, smoke color changes) require client-side rendering and may not be visible in all setups

Enjoy your campfire cooking adventure!
