Overview

CapePlus lets you create and wear your own custom capes in Minecraft! Design unique capes using your own images, apply color tints, and show them off to other players who have the mod installed.

How to Use

1. Open the Cape Editor - Press the C key (default) to open the CapePlus editor screen

2. Add Your Cape Image

   • Place a PNG image named my_cape.png in the .minecraft/capeplus_capes/ folder
   • Recommended size: 64x32 pixels (standard cape size) or 22x17 pixels
   • Click "Import Cape Image" to load your cape

3. Customize Your Cape

   • Click "Random Tint Color" to apply a random color overlay
   • Click "Toggle Cape" to enable or disable your cape

4. Share Your Cape

   • Click "Broadcast to Players" to send your cape to other players
   • Your cape automatically shows when you close the editor

5. Clear Your Cape - Click "Clear Cape" to remove your current cape

Tips & Tricks

• Use transparent PNG images for best results
• Darker images work better with color tints
• Your cape is saved automatically, so it will persist between game sessions
• Other players need CapePlus installed to see your custom cape

Known Limitations

• Only works in multiplayer with other players who have the mod installed
• Large images may need to be resized to 64x32 for best results
• Cape changes may take a moment to sync to other players
