Overview

Find the Hidden Button is a puzzle adventure mod that challenges you to find hidden buttons in 50 unique levels. Each level is a randomly generated room with different themes like stone temples, wooden cabins, nether fortresses, and more. The buttons are camouflaged in the environment, so you'll need sharp eyes to spot them!

How to Use

Starting the Game

Type /findbutton or /findbutton start to begin your adventure. You'll be teleported to Level 1 in a randomly generated room.

Finding Buttons

Look carefully around the room! The button can be:

Hidden on any wall
Placed on the floor
Camouflaged among similar blocks

When you find the correct button, click it to instantly advance to the next level with a firework celebration!

Commands

/findbutton or /findbutton start - Start a new game
/findbutton hint - Get a hint about the button's location (once per level)
/findbutton info - Check your current level, theme, and time remaining
/findbutton reset - Quit and reset your progress
/findbutton skip - Skip the current level (admin only)

Time Limit

Each level has a countdown timer shown in your game info. If time runs out, the level restarts with a fresh room. You start with 5 minutes, but higher levels give you less time!

Tips & Tricks

Use your hint wisely! Save it for when you've been searching for a while
Check all walls - Buttons love hiding on walls, especially in corners
Look at different heights - The button could be at floor level or near the ceiling
Don't forget the floor - Sometimes the button is right under your feet
Themes matter - Stone buttons blend with stone walls, wood buttons with wood planks
Listen for clicks - You might hear other buttons, but only the hidden one will advance you

Known Limitations

Buttons may occasionally spawn in very tricky spots - that's part of the challenge!
Fireworks use the default rocket appearance
Room sizes vary from 7x7x7 to 15x15x15 blocks depending on your level
