Machinery, Keys and Modes
Features
- Dino Morpher item triggers a Dino Thunder style morph via right-click or the bound key (default R), spawning sparks, applying strength/speed/resistance/jump boosts, and auto-equipping any carried ranger armor pieces.
- Dino Thunder armor set with custom textures plus crafting components (ancient scales, thunder crystals, morpher shells, ranger fabric, storm cores) to build or recharge morph gear.
- Morpher Forge block (craftable) that forges morphers and storm cores on use and forges a full ranger suit while sneaking; adds smoke, anvil sounds, and quick inventory handling.
- Ranger workshop structures now generate in overworld village biomes (plains, savanna, desert, taiga, snowy plains) containing a forge, worktables, and a loot chest seeded with mod materials.
- Crafting recipes for all base materials and the forge, so you can progress even before finding a workshop.
- Client HUD morph bar and keybind entry under "Machinery, Keys and Modes" for quick activation.
How to use
- Gather components from workshop chests or craft them (e.g., scales from scute+prismarine+lime dye; crystals from amethyst+redstone+glowstone; fabric from leather+string+red dye; morpher shells from iron+redstone).
- Craft and place a Morpher Forge. Normal use: morpher shell + 2 thunder crystals + 1 redstone block yields a Dino Morpher; blaze powder + quartz + a crystal yields a storm core. Sneak-use with 8 scales, 6 fabric, 2 crystals, and 4 iron ingots to forge the full ranger suit.
- Keep the Dino Morpher in hand or inventory and press R (or your rebound key) to morph; cooldown applies. Effects are temporary buffs plus visual overlay.
- Explore new chunks to find the ranger workshops; existing worlds need unexplored areas for the new structures to appear.
Notes and limitations
- The mod runs on the client but worldgen/loot only appear in singleplayer or servers that load the mod’s data pack content.
- Morphing grants buffs and visuals but does not alter player models.
- Workshops are moderately rare; a bit of travel may be required before you spot one.
