Mob Spawn Mod

Overview

Mob Spawn is a progressive difficulty mod that makes Minecraft more challenging the longer you play. As each day passes, hostile mobs spawn more frequently, turning your peaceful survival world into an increasingly intense battle for survival!

Features

• Day-based Difficulty Scaling - Mob spawn rates increase by 10% for each in-game day
• Visible Day Counter - Always know what day it is with the on-screen display
• Color-coded Spawn Rate Indicator - Green (easy), Yellow (medium), Orange (hard), Red (extreme)
• Maximum 5x Multiplier - Difficulty caps out at 5x spawn rate to keep the game playable
• Smart Spawning Logic - Only spawns hostile mobs (zombies, skeletons, creepers, spiders, etc.) in appropriate conditions

How to Use

1. Just play! The mod automatically tracks the in-game day and adjusts spawn rates
2. Watch the HUD - Look at the top-left corner of your screen to see:
   • Current day number
   • Current spawn rate multiplier
3. Survive the night - Each passing day brings more enemies to fight off

Tips & Tricks

• Build strong defensive structures early - the longer you survive, the harder it gets
• Stock up on weapons, armor, and food before nightfall
• Consider sleeping through the night early on to "save" the current difficulty level
• Hostile mobs spawn within 32 blocks of players, so stay alert!

Known Limitations

• Spawn rate multiplier only affects natural spawning near players (not spawners or structure spawning)
• The mod only works in the Overworld dimension
• Day counter resets when starting a new world
