ProVanish - Staff Mode Plugin

Overview

ProVanish is a staff management plugin that lets server staff go invisible to monitor players. When you activate staff mode, you get special tools and can see staff-only chat, all while remaining hidden from regular players.

Features

• Vanish Mode: Become invisible to non-staff players while staying on the tab list
• Special Tools: Get a Freeze Tool and Inspect Tool in your inventory
• Staff Chat: Chat privately with other staff using /sc <message>
• Item Pickup Protection: Can't pick up items while in staff mode
• Action Logging: All staff actions are logged to a file
• Inventory Restore: Your original inventory is saved and restored when you exit staff mode

How to Use

Activating Staff Mode

1. Type /staff to toggle staff mode on
2. You'll become invisible to regular players
3. Your inventory will be replaced with staff tools:
   • Freeze Tool (Ice): Right-click a player to freeze/unfreeze them
   • Inspect Tool (Book): Right-click a player to see their info and inventory
4. You can fly and are in spectator mode

Deactivating Staff Mode

1. Type /staff again to turn off staff mode
2. Your original inventory, game mode, and flight settings will be restored
3. You'll become visible to all players again

Staff Chat

• Use /sc <message> to send a message that only staff can see
• Example: /sc I'm watching that suspicious player

Permissions

• provanish.staff - Required to use staff mode (default: OP only)

Tips & Tricks

• New players joining won't see you if you're in staff mode
• The Inspect Tool shows health, location, game mode, and full inventory
• Frozen players can't move until unfrozen
• All actions are logged to plugins/ProVanish/staff.log

Known Limitations

• Vanish status shows on the tab list (players can see you're online)
• Freeze effect is removed if the player leaves the server
