ZEO Mod Notes

What it adds

  • Leader morpher item that performs a 3 second white flash before equipping the ZEO Red suit and summoning six AI ranger allies with their own colors and descriptors.
  • Seven suit sets (Red, Blue, Black, Yellow, Pink, Gold, Aqua) including super-mode variants, tiger claw weapon, and color-coded super keys.
  • Morpher Fabricator block to build the leader morpher, plus villager trades that sell the remaining suits, keys, and claws.
  • Ranger allies fight alongside you, follow their owner, dance on spawn, and gain buffs when a matching super key is activated.

How to use it

  • Craft/place the Morpher Fabricator block and interact while holding a Redstone Block, Gold Ingot, Quartz, and Amethyst Shard in inventory to receive the ZEO Leader Morpher.
  • Right-click the morpher (sneak to demorph) to begin the 3 second morph; after the flash you wear the ZEO Red armor and the six AI rangers spawn around you.
  • Use the color-coded super keys while morphed to trigger super mode. The red key powers up the leader and all allies; other keys boost the matching ally. Super mode swaps to striped armor and grants strength/speed/jump/resistance plus tiger claws if your hand is empty.
  • Allies use white-accented armor with colored bodies; Yellow and Pink are marked as female rangers, and all have varied skin tone and hair descriptors in their names.

Important details

  • Morpher Fabricator drops itself when broken and has a simple shaped recipe (iron + redstone block + quartz + amethyst). Villager armorer trades sell the non-leader suits, clerics sell keys, and weaponsmiths sell tiger claws.
  • Allies disappear when you demorph; they will not attack their owner and prioritize hostile mobs.
  • Armor uses dyeable leather visuals tinted to match each ranger color; super variants add gray striping through tint.

Known limitations / ideas

  • Visuals are tint-based; custom helmet symbols and body shapes are represented through names/tooltips rather than bespoke models.
  • Super and morph effects rely on particles/buffs; there are no cutscenes or custom sounds beyond vanilla cues.
