Death Cinematic Mod
- Adds a server-side cinematic death camera: when a player dies, the camera detaches, circles above the death spot, and slowly rises for a short sequence before returning to the normal view.
- Uses the Hytale server camera packets to lock the client camera in a custom third-person view and smoothly lerp rotation/position during the animation.
- Camera control stops early if the player reference becomes invalid or when the death state is cleared, preventing stuck cameras after respawn.
- Jar output: deathcinematic-1.0.0.jar (built under build/libs/).
- Notes: duration is ~4 seconds with a full orbit; adjust the timing/radius in
HytaleModconstants if you want a different cinematic feel.
