Gun Mod Notes
- Adds firearm gameplay for server-side Hytale loader mods. Use
/gun <type>to receive a marked gun item;/gun listshows available options. - Guns tracked: pistol, rifle, shotgun, machine_gun, light_machine_gun. Each has its own magazine size, fire rate, damage, and reload time; ammo is stored on the item metadata so swapping slots keeps counts.
- Left-click while holding a gun to fire (rate-limited per weapon). If an entity is targeted it takes projectile damage; otherwise the shot still consumes ammo and reports the remaining rounds.
- Right-click while holding a gun to reload when ammo is below the magazine size. Reloads complete after their weapon-specific timer and refill the magazine.
- Player state is cleaned up on disconnect to avoid lingering reload/ammo tracking.
