Krykraft Update crowns any living entity you rename to kyk. The first time the game sees that exact custom name (case-insensitive), the mob is flagged as the king, gains a golden crown if the head slot was empty, glows, shows the gold “King Kyk” title, and gets permanent strength and resistance. A burst of end-rod particles marks the promotion so you can spot the change quickly.
Attacking a crowned king is fatal: when a living attacker (melee or projectile owner) hurts the king, the attacker immediately takes effectively unlimited retaliation damage and is highlighted with crit particles. The king keeps the flag even if you later change its name.
Notes and tips:
- Built for the NeoForge loader (mod id
krykraftupdate) targeting Minecraft 1.20.1 settings with NeoForge 20.2.93. - The crown is only applied if the head slot was empty at promotion and is not automatically re-given if removed.
- Kings stay empowered permanently; renaming does not remove the king flag.
