Mochi Slime Mod Notes
- Built a friendly Mochi Slime mob with a pastel mochi texture, dot eyes, and a little "w" mouth. It hops without dealing damage and sometimes emits a blush of soft pink particles when it jumps.
- Added a Mochi Slime spawn egg (pastel pink/mint shell) in the Spawn Eggs creative tab for quick access.
- Mochi Slimes naturally appear in bright overworld biomes like plains, meadows, flower forests, and cherry groves (small groups, weight 8) with on-ground spawn rules that avoid fluids.
- Custom loot drops: slime balls (0–2, looting supported) and a small chance for sugar to fit the mochi theme.
- Client renderer reuses the slime model with a custom texture at
assets/mochislime/textures/entity/mochi_slime.png. - Targeted platform: NeoForge 20.2.93 / Minecraft 1.20.2 (closest available NeoForge line for this template).
