Present for tea Mod Notes

What was built

• Added the Hello Kitty Sword, a custom cherry-blossom infused blade with a bespoke 3D model and hand-painted texture. The sword sits in its own Present for Tea creative tab for quick access in creative mode.
• Holding the sword in either hand grants Strength II, Speed II, and Luck I while it remains equipped. The effects refresh automatically so they persist without needing to reapply potions.

How it works

• Craft the sword on a crafting table with cherry leaves stacked above a stick (two leaves on top of one stick). Leaves also repair the sword in an anvil.
• The sword is built on a durable custom tool tier, making it stronger than diamond and suitable for late-game combat.
• A JSON block-model defines the sword geometry so it renders with volume in hand and in item frames instead of a flat sprite.

Notes & future ideas

• Potion effects linger briefly (two seconds) after unequipping the sword; this is intentional to avoid stripping other potion sources.
• Consider adding custom animation or particles when swinging, and bespoke sound effects to reinforce the Hello Kitty theme.
• Multiplayer is supported, but very high attack speeds or additional modded haste effects could make the buffs feel overpowered; tune the tier or amplifier if needed.
