Ships and boats

Ships and Boats mod adds a small set of buildable ship pieces and cannon gear you can place directly in the world.

• New blocks: Hull Plating, Mast Segment, Ship’s Wheel, Deck Cannon, and Deck Chair. All use vanilla textures for a clean drop-in look.
• Ammo: Cannonball item. Load a Deck Cannon by right-clicking it with a cannonball or gunpowder; it fires a smoke-trailing shot that deals damage and makes a small non-destructive blast.
• Steering flair: Right-click the Ship’s Wheel to face the block’s heading and get a brief speed boost in water (Dolphin’s Grace).
• Seating: Deck Chair lets you sit; it spawns a tiny seat entity and removes it when empty. Multiple chairs can be placed for crew seating.
• Building: Hull and Mast behave like sturdy wood blocks (axes break them fastest). All blocks drop themselves and appear in vanilla creative tabs (Functional Blocks; ammo in Combat/Ingredients).
• Client-only mod: packaged for client environments on NeoForge 1.21.1 with ID shipsandboats.

Limitations / tips:

• Ships are decorative—no sailing physics or multiblock movement is implemented.
• Cannons consume one ammo per shot; they don’t check for collision-friendly firing arcs, so mind your crew.
