BROS Mod Overview

What’s Included

  • New Bro Ore spawns frequently across the Overworld, Nether, and End (veins up to Y=20). It drops Bro Crystals that smelt or blast into Bro Ingots with solid XP rewards.
  • Complete Bro equipment line: Bro Pickaxe with 3×3 area mining toggle (Shift + Right Click), Bro Sword/Axe/Shovel/Hoe, and full Bro armor set using Netherite-tier protection with fireproofing.
  • Mana system that grows as you mine or let your empire work. Mana is shown on a lightweight HUD bar (also accessible via the B keybind message) and fuels skill upgrades and empire actions.
  • Bro Pickaxe skill tree (open with K while holding the pickaxe): invest mana to raise mining power, area size (up to 11×11), mana efficiency, and rare drop bonuses. Skill data is stored on the pickaxe itself.
  • Bro Empire Core block to manage your mining empire. Place it to hire Bro Miners (sneak + use) who autonomously feed you mana; the core levels over time and reports status on interact.
  • Bro Miner entity renderer and loot (drops extra crystals) plus mana-driven villager trading: sneak-right-click any villager to trade 25 mana for Bro Crystals.

Using the Features

  • Mine with the Bro Pickaxe to auto-gain mana and trigger its 3×3 sweep on stone/deepslate. Toggle area mining with Shift + Right Click.
  • Open the skill tree with K while holding the Bro Pickaxe to spend mana and points on upgrades.
  • Monitor mana on the HUD; gains/spends flash in green/red with source labels.
  • Place a Bro Empire Core, then sneak-use it to hire miners. They generate mana for you automatically and display current levels when used normally.
  • Sneak-use villagers to perform mana-based trades for Bro Crystals instead of emeralds.

Notes and Limits

  • Mana and skill data are kept per-player and per-pickaxe within the current play session.
  • NPC miners focus on passive mana generation rather than complex block-breaking AI.
  • Textures are lightweight placeholders to keep the build focused on mechanics.
